Max's Annual Scarecrow Contest
Our annual Scarecrow Building Contest is part of the fun at the Harvest Festival. The Harvest Festival runs September 27 through October 31. Hay rides, the Pumpkin Patch, and the Fall harvest are all here for you to enjoy.
Build your own scarecrow and bring it to the Ranch by October 1. We'll set it up in the pumpkin patch, and judging takes place October 1st for the best scarecrow. Categories include 3 Children's levels, Teams, Organizations, and Artists.
As always, train rides, the playground and the farm animals are here for your whole family's enjoyment. Stop in for a cup of fresh apple cider or to pick the perfect pumpkin.
Max's Miracle Ranch is located at 3476 Smith Avenue in Biggs, California, 95917. We are 20 minutes from Chico or Yuba City on Highway 99: turn west onto Rio Bonito and north onto Smith Avenue. Go 1/3 mile and you are there!
